Hello those who are still checking the website! I am not dead! Apologies if I scared anyone by needing to go home so urgently on the last day of school. On Wednesday evening, the night before the last day of school, a real fatigue and tiredness fell over me around dinner time. I wasn't eating much and around 6pm, I fell asleep. I woke up at midnight and realized I hadn't finished your slideshow, so I got up and did that. I then went back to sleep and woke up for school. I felt lousy. Completely drained of all energy. I still wanted to go because it was the last day, so I ignored my body and I did. I barely made it through the first period of the day and I spent the whole time you were in music laying down in the nurses room. I found out my wife's aunt was in the area and had her pick me up and take me home. I then slept all day and all night. Almost 30 hours. I still don't know exactly what was wrong. It is possible I was doing too much when I should have been resting and my body shut down. It's possible my healing bone needed lots of my energy and it took it all. Maybe I got sick or something else. Not entirely sure. I feel mostly better now in that regard, so it is mostly dealing with my leg now. I feel pretty bummed out that I missed most of the last day. Sorry everyone. I tried. Speaking of the last day, how was the slideshow? Did it work? I hope everyone liked it! We will have to watch it again in September on the first day back at school! I hope your summer vacation is going well. Most of my summer is resting and watching. Not that exciting. I got a knee scooter to help me get around better, but I am still not allowed to stand on my bad leg or put any weight on it for at least another 3 weeks. My summer will be a summer of waiting, resting, healing, seeing doctors and, hopefully, getting better. I do try to get out and scooter with Jonny and Zack. We even went to see my hockey team play one night - which was really weird because I'm usually out there playing too! I left you a few pictures. I hope to post more over the summer - maybe every week or two. If you are here and seeing this, leave a comment! Then I know who is seeing this! I hope you have enjoyed the first week of summer and have lots of fun all the way up until you are officially grade 5 students in September. |

Welcome Students and Parents of Division 7!
I hope that this will be a place where we can better open the lines of communication between myself, the students and the parents/guardians. I also hope to use this space as part of my general encouragement to use various forms of technology to help us learn in different and meaningful ways.
