First off, I am not a huge "homework" teacher, but by the looks of the growing list in the agendas, that might seem hard to believe. The list that appears in the agenda is more closely related to due dates than homework. I will usually do a lesson in class and give students time to work on the related assignments in class. Usually there is more than enough time given to complete the assignment in class, but should a student not finish, the "homework" is then to make sure it is done by the assigned due date. I won't just give an assignment that is expected to be completed at home where we would not have had a chance to work on it at school first. I will also use the homework section to give notice of upcoming tests or quizzes, which I usually post about a week in advance, to give students the chance to review at home before writing. We will also do review activities during that week before a test, but a little review at home helps to build those important study habits, which will really pay off as we continue along our school career.
Homework/Due Dates will always be written in our agendas daily and will also be posted to this website under the homework tab. Hope that helps! If you have questions, feel free to comment below, or come see me.
