Summer has been interesting here. A lot of hanging around the house. We went camping for a few days in Penticton, which was nice. Hot, but nice. We swam in the lake a lot, which definitely helped with the heat.
Both of my sons played baseball this summer. Between the two of them, I felt like I was at a baseball diamond 5 times a week. It was still nice to get outside and have them doing something - and baseball seems to be the most socially distanced outside sport there is. Win-Win.
We did the drive-thru PNE, went to the outdoor swimming pool, celebrated Jon's 8th birthday, went on lots of walks and played lots of sports. Also got to watch sports - NHL playoffs in the summer is a neat idea! We had some bigger plans that had to be cancelled, but I think we made the best of it. I hope all of you did as well! Enjoy your last week and a bit and I will see you back at Mackenzie soon.
